Micromax, a brand that once acquired the name, fame, user base and everything else that any company strives for. A decade ago, you could see the Micromax logo everywhere, you could hear the name of this company in every house. But soon, the “punch symbol” seemed to have disappeared out of nowhere.
In 2019, many people, the people who understood the market very well, suggested that, “As for Micromax, it is all but gone.” Well, not only them but everyone thought so.
But, towards the end of 2020, the company seems to be striking back. The company seems to have understood the market well enough to launch its next product. Amidst the wave of “Make in India”, the company has announced its “Micromax In Series”. This phone is not the typical, old-school Micromax device that comes to your mind. But this device, is the one, that is going to give a big competition to the other smartphone companies with budget phones. Stay along to know all the amazing specifications that this phone offers.
Just by hearing the word “Display”, the first question that pops up in mind is that, “Is this going to be a phone with Full-Display?”. Well, this is going to be Micromax’s first phone with no notches and a truly Full-View Display. The Micromax In Note 1 will come with a large 6.67-inch FHD+ Screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels.

This is a gaming technology which will boost up your gaming experience as well as a flawless overall experience. This 12 nm processor clocks upto 2GHz providing a fast performance.
Alongside the fast processor is the neat Android 10 OS with no modifications. This means that the company has provided no pre-installed bloatware unlike Redmi which has many pre-installed apps out of the box.
The smartphone houses a 5000mAh battery which in comparison with other phones is considered quite dominating. On top of the large battery is its capability to charge at 18W. The 18W adapter comes out-of-the-box with the USB type-C cable.
Coming to the cameras, the Micromax In Note 1 offers a quad-camera setup at the back and a punch-hole camera in the front. The primary camera is of 48 megapixels accompanied by a 5-megapixel wide camera lens. The other two lens consist of the macro lens and the depth sensor, both of 2 megapixels each.
The front punch hole camera setup holds an impressive 16-megapixel camera. The camera on this smartphone works with the Helio G85 processor to give you an enhanced photography experience. This includes AI recognition, Noise Reduction and many other features.
Connectivity, Storage and Sensors
The Micromax In Note 1 would be inclusive of the basic Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5, 3G and 4G connectivity. It would have a storage option of 64GB as well as 128GB. This would have a dual-Sim slot. The sensors on the phone include fingerprint sensor, compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
